Community & Focus Testing
eTranslate’s qualified researchers undertake Community Consultation and Focus Testing projects that provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of cultural communities with research undertaken either as part of the initial planning or at the conclusion of a campaign.

eTranslate research division undertakes consultations that seek to determine the most effective type of communication with focus testing conducted to ensure that material is culturally acceptable, easy to understand and that it meets the needs of the target audience.
Multicultural Database.

eTranslate has an extensive research database that enables it to assist clients with the selection of communities to be targeted. Research demographics include population figures for National, State and Local Government campaigns. The ethnic research figures include languages spoken in the home, people born overseas, level of language proficiency and age demographics.

 

Creative Design: Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing and Print Preparation

eTranslate in-house production team employs qualified designers, typesetters and desk-top publishers who are well experienced in understanding foreign language fonts, software and specific formatting requirements.

All forms of written communication can be reproduced in language, including brochures, flyers, posters, factsheets, press material and more. Final files can be returned for placement on the web or commercial printing, across the current range of current design applications for both PC and MAC platforms.

TV and Audio

eTranslate has a crew of experienced AV production team. Part of our Cultural Acts sub branch, where we aim to promote cultural diversity in the acts. eTranslate Cultural Acts is an organisation which promotes the multiculturalism talents of individuals, groups and communities across all art forms; music, dance, theatre, film and TV, visual arts and new media. We conduct video and sound recording and production in our studio. eTranslate can produce any audio/video format requested by the client.

 

Digital Media: Web and Mobile

eTranslate encourages its clients to include translated information on the web, to be reach out and service cultural customers.

Complete web pages can be professionally translated and formatted in html, xml, xhtml, Flash - with particular attention paid to language encodings and unicode text. This service can also involve the conversion of graphic elements.

Multicultural Advertising 

eTranslate has an extensive background in the Australian advertising arena covering advertising agencies, radio stations (both mainstream and ethnic), television and newspapers and as such has a sound understanding of the structure, material requirements and scheduling arrangements associated with each medium.
The independence of eTranslate enables client's access to a consultancy that plans ethnic media devoid of media allegiances. Clients receive comprehensive access to all ethnic media with unbiased schedules designed to reach target audiences in the most cost efficient and effective manner.

Printing and Distribution

eTranslate can manage clients' multicultural print requirements and distribution of materials throughout Australia.

Printing
eTranslate  understands that presentation in the printed form can vary, particularly across a wide variety of languages and as such provides clear instructions to printers to ensure that final outcomes meet client expectations. As an integral part of its typesetting and translation service
Distribution
eTranslate has developed an extensive Australia-wide ethnic community's database that enables access to contact names and addresses in line with material distribution plans.

Call Centre

eTranslate owns a multilingual call centre in Melbourne. It is staffed by train bi-lingual team trained in taking inbound calls and making outbound sales calls.
Inbound Calls – we can allocate a dedicated phone number for the duration of that campaign and train selected team of bi-lingual to take inbound enquiries. Information are routed via secured email to our client for further qualification.

Outbound Sales Calls – we can allocate a selected team trained in our client sales protocol and make outbound sales call.  The campaign has be target on specific location or country wide. We have an extensive multicultural household database which allows us to access phone numbers.

 

Media Monitoring

Ethnic Media Monitoring
We have a wide network of media monitors that enable us to monitor over 87 ethnic publications, radio and Internet Websites across Australia. We have a Website portal for customers to submit their keyword search and collect their clippings. The first 50 words English summary is given to each clipping as part of the $10 clipping fee.

Community Monitoring
This is a unique service to eTranslate, we have network of community monitors who we can call upon to assess the reach of an advertising campaign and how the advertising message may impact the decision of the reader to buy certain products.  The data is periodically collected and made available to our client via a secured Web site
